Our Story
Toodles Playschool was founded in January 2012 with a vision to provide high-quality early childhood education in a nurturing and supportive environment. Starting with just one small class of nine children, we have grown significantly over the years, expanding our facilities and programs to better serve our community in Glen Marais, Kempton Park.
In 2014, we undertook a major renovation to enhance our learning environment. This expansion included the addition of a second classroom, a Sun Room (our library), office space, a larger playground, and spacious classrooms, each with its own bathroom. These improvements reflect our commitment to providing a fun, engaging, and safe space for young learners.
Our Philosophy
At Toodles, we believe that the early years are crucial for setting the foundation for future success. Our philosophy is centered around providing individualized attention and tailored learning experiences. With a maximum of 15 children per class, we ensure that each child receives the personal attention they need to flourish.

First days, fun days, sports days, concert days, and although today was one of our saddest days leaving Toodles, these are days both Levi and Mika will always remember forever. Toodles has been a big part of our lives and we’ll miss you all dearly.
As parents, nothing brought us more comfort than knowing Oliver and Elliot were in a place where they were truly cared for, and that’s exactly what we found at Toodles. We watched both boys flourish in ways we never imagined. We will always cherish the memories made at Toodles.

It’s been such a wonderful journey, and I want to say thank you to Laureen, Marie-Lize, Bongi & Funi for taking such good care of our little princess. Tori has grown so much in your care, thank you for all the hours you spent, and all the attention and knowledge you have passed onto her.

Both our daughters attended Toodles from age 2 to 5 and we could not have asked for a better pre-school. Laureen went the extra mile for our girls beyond what we ever could have asked for. We definitely felt part of a family.
